About the Artist

Don Weisgarber grew up in rural Ohio, graduated from Bowling Green University and served three years in the U.S. Army. He was a fireman with the Massillon, Ohio, Fire Department until retirement, and it was during that career that he began painting. He now paints full time. In addition to his home gallery, his paintings may be found in various local galleries and shops.

The artist works primarily in watercolor; he is self-taught, having had no formal art training other than having attended more than a few workshops while first learning to paint.
